Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
Student Learning Outcomes clearly state the knowledge, skills, attitudes, competencies that students are expected to acquire after completing a course/program/service. As per ACCJC Standards, all instructional courses and programs as well as student support services are required to have SLOs or Student Area Outcomes (SAO) for Student Support Programs. Institutions are required to have Instructional Learning Outcomes (ILO). SLOs should be mapped to Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and PLOs, SLOs, and SAOs should be mapped to ILOs.
